What is AltVita?
AltVita is a life simulator with a long memory. You begin at birth and age one year at a time through family, school, work, love, money, health, ambition and whatever trouble you choose. People remember, records follow you, possessions age, and small choices can return decades later.
Why does each life feel different?
Every life starts with a different country, family and personality, then accumulates its own relationships, education, reputation, stress, health, money and history. AltVita weighs all of that—not just one visible stat—when it decides what happens next. The same choice can open a door in one life and close it in another.
How long does one life take?
There is no fixed session length. Move quickly and a whole life can pass in minutes; manage every relationship, qualification, job, home, investment and business, and it can unfold across many sessions. AltVita saves automatically on this device.
What happens when a life ends?
That life becomes a memorial instead of disappearing. You can create a shareable life card from it, keep the record on this device, or begin again as someone entirely new.

Is the web game the real AltVita or a demo?
It is AltVita’s current public release, not a demo or stripped-down preview. A separate AltVita for iOS is in development, but the web game stands on its own today. Whether the web release remains available after iOS launches has not been decided.
Is AltVita really free? Do I need an account?
The current web release is free, with no ads, paywall or account. You can start and finish a life without entering an email address. Email is only requested if you choose to claim a Founding ID and receive the App Store release alert.
Where is my save—and will it follow me to another device?
Your life is stored in that browser on that device. AltVita does not currently sync saves, so opening the game on another phone or computer starts or resumes that device’s own life; it does not move this one. Clearing browser or site data can erase the save. The privacy notice explains what stays local.
Can I put AltVita on my Home Screen?
Yes. AltVita runs in a modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. For an app-like mobile experience, add playaltvita.com/play to your Home Screen: on iPhone use Safari’s Share menu; on Android use Install app or Add to Home screen. Installation is optional and no App Store download is required.

When is AltVita coming to iOS or Android?
AltVita for iOS is in development as a separate mobile product; no release date has been announced. There is no Android app announcement today. The current web release works on both iPhone and Android.
What does a Founding ID do?
A Founding ID is a permanent record that you played before AltVita’s App Store release. After one email confirmation, you receive a unique ID and the App Store release alert. It is also the record AltVita will use for Founding Player recognition and planned iOS extras when account linking opens.
It is free and optional. It is not a game account and does not sync your save.
