Information on your device

The web game stores your save, settings and privacy choice in your browser. AltVita does not receive your complete game save during normal play.

Clearing browser or site data can erase your save and reset your choices. There is no cloud backup unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.

Running the service

Basic technical information may be processed to deliver and secure AltVita, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. This can include an IP address, browser or device type, pages requested, time of access and technical logs.

This processing is necessary to provide the service and support AltVita’s legitimate interests in security and reliability.

Optional usage insights

If you choose Allow insights, AltVita may collect page and feature use, general device details, performance and error information, and limited privacy-protected interaction data. We use this only to understand what works and find confusing or broken parts.

Form entries are masked, and your complete save is not included. Choosing Necessary only does not limit the website or game. You can change your choice at any time.

Email

If you request a Founding ID, AltVita handles your email address, confirmation and subscription status, Founding ID and basic delivery history. You are not subscribed until you confirm through the email sent to you.

We use this information to provide your Founding ID, send the AltVita for iOS App Store release alert and manage delivery and unsubscribe requests. Each release email includes a way to unsubscribe.

If you separately join the iOS beta-interest list, AltVita records your email address and beta-interest subscription without sending a confirmation email. We use it to consider you for selective testing and send beta invitations or testing information. Selection is limited and invitations may be sent in waves. Every beta email will provide a way to unsubscribe.

Sharing and retention

AltVita uses service providers for functions such as hosting, security, analytics and email delivery. They receive only the information needed for those functions. AltVita does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Providers may process information in other countries, using appropriate protections where required. Technical and optional insight data are kept for limited operational or improvement periods. Email records are kept while you are subscribed and as needed to honor unsubscribe requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

• Play without giving AltVita an email address.
• Refuse or withdraw optional usage insights.
• Unsubscribe from the AltVita for iOS release alert.
• Unsubscribe from iOS beta-interest and testing emails.
• Ask to access, correct or delete personal information AltVita holds about you.
• Object to or restrict processing where applicable.
• Raise a concern with the data-protection authority that applies where you live.
