Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use apply when you use the AltVita iPhone app, playaltvita.com or related support services. By using them, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you cannot legally agree for yourself, use AltVita only with the permission and supervision required where you live.

If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. App Store terms and license

AltVita is licensed, not sold. Your license to the iPhone app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms. These Terms of Use supplement those agreements and govern AltVita-specific features and services.

Subject to those terms, AltVita grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple. Apple is not responsible for AltVita’s maintenance or support.

3. A fictional life simulator

AltVita simulates birth, family, education, work, relationships, health, money, crime, gambling, death and other life events. Characters, brands created for the game, scenarios, outcomes, probabilities and financial figures are fictional or simplified for entertainment.

Nothing in AltVita is medical, legal, financial, educational, employment or other professional advice. Game outcomes should not be used to make real-world decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

• misuse, disrupt, overload or attempt unauthorized access to the app, website or related systems;
• circumvent security, purchase verification, advertising gates or access restrictions;
• reverse engineer or extract source code except where applicable law expressly allows it;
• copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit AltVita content without permission;
• use automation, fraud, impersonation or deceptive activity in connection with AltVita; or
• use AltVita in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

5. Local saves and devices

AltVita does not provide a game account or cloud save. Lives, progress and settings are stored locally. They may be permanently lost if you delete the app, clear its data, lose or reset the device, or if the operating system removes the data. AltVita cannot retrieve or reconstruct a local save.

Purchase entitlements are separate from game saves. Restoring a purchase can restore access to an owned premium pack, but it does not restore a lost character or life history.

6. Free access, ads and rewarded actions

AltVita can be downloaded and played without a subscription. The free experience may include banner ads and optional rewarded ads. A rewarded action only unlocks after the advertising provider confirms completion. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and declining or failing to complete an ad means the related reward is not granted.

7. One-time premium packs

AltVita currently offers two separate non-consumable in-app purchases:

• AltVita+ removes ads, enables Continue the Family, opens rewarded gates without watching an ad, and includes future features expressly assigned to AltVita+.
• AltVita Careers unlocks the premium business careers currently identified in the app and future premium careers expressly released under AltVita Careers.

These are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. The price shown by Apple before confirmation is the price that applies to that transaction, subject to taxes and App Store terms. A feature is included only when the app or App Store description expressly assigns it to that pack.

Apple processes purchases, billing, cancellations and refund requests. Use Restore Purchases in the AltVita Store to recover eligible entitlements associated with the Apple Account that bought them. Access may be delayed during outages or pending purchase approval, and may be removed after a refund, chargeback, revocation, fraud finding or correction of an entitlement error.

8. Ownership and feedback

AltVita’s software, design, writing, artwork, audio, characters, interfaces, logos and other original material are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.

If you voluntarily send ideas, criticism or other feedback, you allow AltVita to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not send material you do not have permission to share.

9. Updates and availability

AltVita may add, rebalance, replace or remove content and features; change technical requirements; correct errors; or release updates needed for compatibility, security or legal compliance. Continued functionality may require a supported device, operating-system version, internet connection for certain services, or the latest app version.

AltVita may suspend or discontinue a feature or service. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer law.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AltVita is provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantee is made that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that any particular simulated outcome will occur. Third-party services such as the App Store, purchase verification and advertising may be unavailable independently of AltVita.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AltVita will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the app or website, including loss of local game data, loss caused by unsupported devices, or interruption of third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Enforcement, changes and contact

Access may be limited or ended when reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security, legal requirements or a material violation of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers and limitations, survive termination.

These terms may be updated when AltVita or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and significant changes will be presented through an appropriate notice. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
